In July 2026, the College surveyed Registered Social Workers (RSWs) and Registered Clinical Social Workers (RCSWs) across British Columbia about psychotherapy practice.
What You Told Us: Psychotherapy brings together the survey findings and selected comments from registrants, providing a picture of how psychotherapy is understood and practised across different roles, settings, populations and areas of clinical practice.
The report also identifies themes and questions that will continue to inform the College’s work as psychotherapy practice and the regulatory environment around it evolve.
